Moët Hennessy seeks a 6-month legal intern in Paris for the IP, Marketing & IT legal department to support contract drafting, advertising compliance, and digital law matters.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Negotiate and draft contracts for creative works, intellectual property assignments, artistic collaborations, service provisions, partnerships, and sponsorship agreements
  • Provide legal validation and advisory services on communications law, including advertising campaigns, press releases, product specifications, and digital content
  • Ensure compliance with French consumer protection law and alcohol advertising regulations (Loi Evin)
  • Formulate clear, pragmatic operational recommendations to marketing and communications teams
  • Secure and advise on digital activations, including contests, influencer campaigns, and social media content distribution
  • Conduct legal research and produce written memoranda on intellectual property law, contract law, consumer law, advertising law, and local regulations
  • Develop internal training materials and documentation for operational teams
  • Contribute to internal legal newsletters and communications
  • Participate in meetings with external counsel and prepare associated meeting minutes

Qualifications

  • Master's degree (Bac+5 or LLM) with specialization in intellectual property law, business law, contract law, or communications law
  • Strong knowledge of intellectual property law, contract law, and advertising regulations (Loi Evin knowledge is advantageous)
  • Professional proficiency in legal English (written and oral)
  • Understanding of social media operations, digital marketing dynamics, and influencer marketing
  • Excellent written communication and synthesis skills
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of prioritizing tasks and anticipating needs
  • Adaptability, autonomy, and pragmatic problem-solving approach
  • Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative team orientation

Experience
