Moët Hennessy Wine Estates (Bodega Numanthia) in Valdefinjas, Spain seeks a Laboratory Technician (Enology) for a temporary on-site contract (Aug–Oct 2026).
Role & Responsibilities
- Collect grape samples in the vineyard and prepare them for laboratory analysis
- Perform physical and chemical analyses of grapes and musts (Brix, acidity, pH, etc.)
- Record, track and report analytical results by parcel and lot to ensure traceability
- Support nutrient additions and monitor fermentations in coordination with the technical team
- Supervise and record malolactic fermentation progress alongside technical managers
- Participate in organoleptic (sensory) evaluation of fermentations and finished wines
- Conduct micro-vinification trials and contribute to R&D workstreams
- Maintain accurate records in the winery management information system to ensure traceability
Qualifications
- Higher education in Enology/Oenology, Viticulture, Chemistry or a closely related discipline
- Spanish language proficiency (working fluency)
- Practical experience in harvest operations and laboratory analyses preferred
- Availability for an on-site, seasonal contract from mid‑August to late October 2026
- Attention to detail, good record‑keeping and capacity to work in a production environment

Entry‑level (beginner) position; prior experience with harvest operations and laboratory work in a winery or food/beverage laboratory is desirable. Candidate must be available for the seasonal on‑site contract (mid‑August to end of October 2026).
Education
Higher education degree in Enology/Oenology, Viticulture, Chemistry or related field.
