Moët & Chandon in Épernay seeks a Laboratory Analyst (2-month contract) for the 2026 harvest to perform must analyses and QC.
Role & Responsibilities
- Perform laboratory analyses on incoming grape musts to determine chemical and oenological parameters.
- Execute routine monitoring analyses throughout the harvest period to support cellar decisions.
- Calibrate, validate and carry out quality controls on analytical instruments and measurement devices.
- Record and report analytical results promptly in the laboratory information systems and alert relevant stakeholders to any non-conforming or atypical results.
- Ensure correct sampling, traceability and documentation in accordance with laboratory protocols and safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Bac or Bac+2 (BTS) in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Anabiotec or equivalent technical diploma.
- Practical laboratory experience or training in analytical techniques and metrology.
- Proven ability to perform instrument calibrations and quality control checks; chromatography knowledge is a plus.
- Proficiency with standard IT tools for data entry and result reporting.
- Organized, rigorous, team-oriented and demonstrable interest in oenology.

Entry-level — suitable for recent graduates or candidates with limited professional experience; practical traineeships or coursework in oenological/analytical laboratories advantageous.
Education
Bac or Bac+2 (BTS) in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Anabiotec or equivalent technical diploma.

The successful candidate will be located in Épernay, Grand Est, France, with easy access to Reims.
