Moët Hennessy seeks a Key Account Manager (Specialist Channel) in Amsterdam to grow sales across independent specialist retailers in the Randstad.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of independent specialist customers (liquor stores, fine wine retailers and other specialist partners) across the Randstad, ensuring sales growth, profitability and distribution objectives are met.
  • Lead annual commercial negotiations, define trade terms and develop promotional plans with assigned accounts to maximise sell‑in and sell‑through.
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities to expand Moët Hennessy’s footprint in the Dutch specialist channel.
  • Deliver premium in‑store visibility and activation in line with brand guidelines and the commercial strategy.
  • Maintain regular field presence: visit accounts to build relationships, secure brand placement and ensure flawless point‑of‑sale execution.
  • Support the Key Account Manager to develop the indirect business via preferred wholesale partners when relevant.
  • Monitor sales performance and market dynamics; provide actionable insights and recommendations to the Benelux commercial team.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Supply Chain and Finance to ensure seamless account execution and event/service delivery.
  • Act as a brand ambassador at tastings, activations and trade events to strengthen relations with trade partners and consumers.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in account management or sales within FMCG, luxury goods or Wine & Spirits.
  • Strong knowledge of the Dutch specialist and retail landscape, with existing trade relationships preferred.
  • Fluency in Dutch and English (spoken and written) required.
  • Proven negotiation skills and ability to secure advantageous commercial terms.
  • Analytical mindset with basic financial literacy (margins, pricing, ROI) and comfort working with sales data.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to influence cross‑functional stakeholders.
  • Resides within the working area of the Randstad (Amsterdam, Rotterdam, The Hague, Utrecht) or willing to be locally based.
