Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of independent specialist customers (liquor stores, fine wine shops and comparable specialist accounts) across the Randstad region to achieve sales, distribution and margin targets.
  • Lead annual commercial negotiations, define trade terms and plan promotions with assigned accounts and preferred wholesale partners.
  • Develop and execute in‑store visibility and activation plans aligned with brand guidelines and overall commercial strategy.
  • Prospect and convert new specialist and wholesale opportunities to expand Moët Hennessy’s footprint in the Dutch market.
  • Conduct regular field visits to build relationships, ensure flawless point‑of‑sale execution and monitor competitor activity.
  • Provide market intelligence, sales reporting and actionable recommendations to the Benelux commercial team.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Supply Chain and Finance to ensure seamless account delivery and coordinated cross‑channel initiatives.
  • Represent Moët Hennessy at tastings, brand events and client meetings, acting as a brand ambassador.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years’ professional experience in account management or sales within FMCG, luxury goods or wine & spirits (specialist/wholesale channel experience preferred).
  • Proven negotiation skills and demonstrable track record of growing specialist or wholesale accounts.
  • Strong understanding of the Dutch retail and specialist landscape, with existing trade relationships desirable.
  • Analytical aptitude with basic commercial finance understanding (margins, pricing, ROI) and ability to translate data into actions.
  • Excellent relationship management and communication skills; organised, proactive and commercially driven.
  • Fluency in Dutch and English (spoken and written).
  • Residence within the working area (Randstad), preferably centrally located within the region.

Experience
