Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop a portfolio of independent specialist customers (liquor stores, fine wine shops and other specialist partners) across the Randstad region to achieve sales, distribution and profitability targets.
  • Lead annual negotiations, define trade terms and coordinate promotional planning with assigned accounts and wholesale partners.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand Moët Hennessy’s presence in the Dutch specialist and wholesale channels.
  • Deliver best-in-class brand visibility and in‑store activations in line with brand guidelines and commercial strategy.
  • Conduct regular field visits to build trade relationships, ensure flawless point-of-sale execution and gather market intelligence.
  • Support the Key Account Manager and preferred wholesale partners to drive indirect business through the channel.
  • Monitor sales performance and market dynamics; produce commercially relevant insights and recommendations for the Benelux commercial team.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Supply Chain and Finance to ensure smooth account execution and alignment of cross-channel activities.
  • Represent Moët Hennessy at tastings, events and trade activations to strengthen trade and consumer relationships.
  • Contribute to a collaborative, performance-oriented team culture and embody the brand’s values of luxury, excellence and sustainability.

Qualifications

  • Minimum three years’ experience in account management or sales within FMCG, luxury goods or wine & spirits (experience in specialist and wholesale channels preferred).
  • Proven negotiation skills and demonstrable success managing commercial relationships with independent retailers or wholesale partners.
  • Strong understanding of the Dutch specialist retail landscape and trade dynamics within the Randstad region.
  • Analytical mindset with basic commercial financial literacy (margins, pricing, ROI) and the ability to translate data into action.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-management skills; organised, proactive and commercially driven.
  • Resident in or near the Randstad area with the ability to travel frequently across Amsterdam, Rotterdam, The Hague and Utrecht.
  • Fluency in Dutch and English (spoken and written).

Experience
