Junior Accountant at Moët & Chandon in Epernay, France. Fixed-term contract in finance and accounting operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Process purchase requisitions, service receipt, and invoice management for suppliers and fixed asset acquisitions
- Execute monthly closing controls, depreciation postings, fixed asset work-in-progress adjustments, and non-reconciled account reviews
- Handle customer payment processing, account reconciliation, and matching of billing channel interfaces and transactions
- Perform monthly receivables reconciliation, validate and issue non-commercial invoices, and support credit risk analysis for order release
- Execute receivables closing procedures including allowance for doubtful accounts, creditor reclassification, currency revaluation, and account justifications
- Conduct cross-functional ad-hoc data extractions, analyses, and performance tracking as required
Qualifications
- Baccalauréat +2 (Associate degree equivalent) in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum 3 years of professional accounting experience
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and basic spreadsheet modeling
- Knowledge of French tax regulations and compliance requirements
- Preferred: SAP experience or similar enterprise accounting system

Experience
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in accounting operations or a similar financial accounting function, with demonstrated competency in payables, receivables, and fixed asset management.
Education
Baccalauréat +2 (Associate degree or equivalent) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
