Moët Hennessy Champagne & Spirits seeks an IP Law Intern in Épernay, France for a 6-month position in trademark and intellectual property protection for luxury wine and champagne brands.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Assist senior counsel with brand portfolio management and protection strategy for luxury champagne and wine brands across multiple jurisdictions
  • Support pre-litigation and litigation management for administrative and judicial proceedings worldwide, including opposition cases and counterfeit enforcement
  • Participate in marketing project validation to ensure brand compliance and intellectual property protection
  • Contribute to evidence of use and notoriety documentation for trademark defense and maintenance
  • Support brand protection and enforcement activities across digital and online platforms
  • Maintain and update intellectual property databases and manage case file archiving and documentation

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Intellectual Property or Industrial Property (CEIPI preferred)
  • Fluent written and oral English (80% of responsibilities conducted in English)
  • Prior experience in intellectual property law within an IP boutique, law firm, or corporate legal department preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to listen actively and communicate effectively both orally and in writing
  • Strong organizational skills and responsiveness to urgent matters
