Moët Hennessy Champagne & Spirits seeks an IP Law Intern in Épernay, France for a 6-month position in trademark and intellectual property protection for luxury wine and champagne brands.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assist senior counsel with brand portfolio management and protection strategy for luxury champagne and wine brands across multiple jurisdictions
- Support pre-litigation and litigation management for administrative and judicial proceedings worldwide, including opposition cases and counterfeit enforcement
- Participate in marketing project validation to ensure brand compliance and intellectual property protection
- Contribute to evidence of use and notoriety documentation for trademark defense and maintenance
- Support brand protection and enforcement activities across digital and online platforms
- Maintain and update intellectual property databases and manage case file archiving and documentation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Intellectual Property or Industrial Property (CEIPI preferred)
- Fluent written and oral English (80% of responsibilities conducted in English)
- Prior experience in intellectual property law within an IP boutique, law firm, or corporate legal department preferred
- Demonstrated ability to listen actively and communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Strong organizational skills and responsiveness to urgent matters

Beginner or entry-level (previous IP law experience in a law firm or IP consultancy appreciated but not required)
Education
Master's degree in Intellectual Property, Industrial Property, or equivalent legal specialization (CEIPI certification preferred)
