The Indirect Procurement Intern supports Moët Hennessy’s EMEA procurement team on indirect purchasing, particularly Marketing & Communications, contributing to sourcing, supplier management, tenders, negotiations and continuous improvement. This full-time, six-month internship starts in January 2027 and may be a gap-year or end-of-studies placement.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the implementation of new procurement practices and processes.
- Help deploy the approved supplier panel.
- Recommend procurement best practices to employees and encourage adoption.
- Address business teams’ needs and support their projects.
- Activate the budget optimisation programme.
- Help prepare and launch tenders.
- Support teams in drafting their briefs.
- Identify and challenge sourcing strategies.
- Contact suppliers, analyse proposals and participate in negotiations with the legal teams.
- Help optimise commercial terms while minimising business risks.
- Use procurement tools to validate supplier creation and check compliance with approved panels.
- Advise employees on suppliers best suited to their needs.
- Help monitor supplier performance and the quality of supplier relationships.
- Conduct post-project analyses and capture lessons learned.
- Contribute to Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) initiatives and supplier business reviews.
- Identify continuous-improvement opportunities and track their implementation.
Qualifications
- Student in a business school, engineering school or university, specialising in procurement.
- Seeking a six-month gap-year or end-of-studies internship starting January 2027.
- Demonstrates rigour, curiosity and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Enjoys working across functions and with numerous stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and synthesis skills.
- Comfortable with office software, particularly Excel; initial knowledge of SAP Ariba is an advantage.
- Excellent spoken and written French is essential; fluent English is required.
