Moët Hennessy seeks HR Business Partner Senior Manager in Tokyo to lead strategic HR initiatives and manage employee relations for luxury wines and spirits organization.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive employee relations support, guidance, and mediation on complex workplace matters
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational objectives, including budget oversight and financial controls
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with senior business leaders and key stakeholders, serving as trusted HR advisor
- Drive talent management initiatives including assessment, succession planning, and leadership development programs
- Guide line managers on performance management processes and HR performance evaluation frameworks
- Develop and execute talent acquisition and employer branding strategies across recruitment channels—new graduates, mid-career professionals, internship, and temporary placements
- Design and deliver learning and development strategies utilizing internal, LVMH group, and external resources
- Provide leadership, coaching, and professional development to two HRBP team members
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 10 years of progressive HR experience with specific focus as HR Business Partner in employee relations
- Strong understanding of FMCG, alcohol, or luxury industry dynamics
- Proven experience in multi-national organizations
- Native or business-level proficiency in Japanese and English; French a valued asset
- Deep expertise in talent management, compensation and benefits, employee relations, training and development, and HR compliance
- Demonstrated knowledge of local employment laws and regulations in Japan
- Proficiency with HRIS systems (SAP SuccessFactors) and modern HR technology platforms

Experience
Minimum 10 years of progressive HR experience, with substantial tenure in an HR Business Partner capacity emphasizing employee relations. Preferred background includes roles within FMCG, alcoholic beverages, luxury goods sectors, and demonstrated success in multi-national corporate environments.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline.
