Role & Responsibilities

  • Embody and articulate the values, heritage, and DNA of the Champagne Maisons through expert guest engagement
  • Master the foundational principles of excellence within the luxury hospitality universe
  • Develop and refine the art of reception, emotional connection, and creation of memorable guest experiences
  • Deepen technical competencies in sommellerie and oenology, from vineyard to glass
  • Cultivate professional confidence and sophistication in verbal and non-verbal communication
  • Complete 10 weeks of structured classroom instruction at the Lycée Hôtelier de Bazeilles covering hospitality fundamentals, service protocols, and wine education
  • Undertake 4 weeks of intensive on-site immersion within one of three Champagne Houses in the Reims or Épernay regions, engaging directly with guests and production teams
  • Participate in exclusive vineyard visits and curated experiences that provide comprehensive immersion in Champagne culture

Qualifications

  • Diploma in hospitality or restaurant management (BTS level or equivalent BAC+2 certification), or substantial professional experience in the hospitality or food and beverage sector
  • Demonstrable passion for luxury, hospitality, and Champagne
  • Aspiration to advance within a prestigious Maison
  • Fluency in French; English strongly preferred for international guest interaction
  • Professional demeanor, discretion, and dedication to service excellence
