Moët Hennessy seeks a Head of Customer Marketing (12‑month maternity cover) in Sydney to lead customer marketing, trade activations and BI capabilities.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define and operationalise a best‑in‑class Customer Marketing capability linking Brand Marketing and Sales, including governance, playbooks and performance frameworks.
- Develop channel‑specific BTL strategies, multi‑year activation roadmaps and investment allocations aligned with brand objectives.
- Lead execution of on‑trade and off‑trade activations, ensuring luxury‑in‑trade standards, POSM/VAP compliance and agency management.
- Establish KPI and ROI frameworks; measure activation effectiveness, conduct post‑activation analysis and codify learnings into regional playbooks.
- Lead, coach and develop the Customer Marketing team, building capability across JBP, agency management, retail media, visual merchandising and omni‑channel execution.
- Own budget accountability for BTL A&P spend, optimising resource allocation and championing commercial value.
- Drive cross‑functional planning with Brand, Sales, Finance and Operations and act as local market cultural antenna in Joint Business Planning.
- Own the Customer Marketing operating system (playbooks, RACI, vendor frameworks) and promote regional best practice sharing.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10+ years of professional experience in trade/customer marketing, retail marketing or category management within consumer industries.
- Proven record of delivering activations across both on‑trade and off‑trade channels and managing end‑to‑end trade programs.
- Demonstrated people leadership with experience managing and developing high‑performing teams.
- Strong commercial acumen with a demonstrable ROI‑focused mindset and systems thinking capability.
- Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation and communication skills; fluency in English.
- Preferred: industry experience in wines & spirits, luxury brands or premium FMCG; WSET or equivalent wine & spirits qualification; familiarity with Power BI, Aspire or Qlik Sense.

Education
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Commerce or related discipline; MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification preferred.
