Role & Responsibilities
- Own and manage full-cycle general accounting: GL maintenance, accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory accounting and treasury operations.
- Plan, coordinate and execute month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close activities; prepare and validate monthly financial statements and reconciliations.
- Prepare and deliver accurate and timely financial reporting to the Joint Venture Board, Moët Hennessy and LVMH; reconcile SAP figures with MH/LVMH reporting tools.
- Build and maintain cash forecasts; report monthly cash positions; approve payments and manage banking relationships, including covenant monitoring and e‑banking systems.
- Lead monthly inventory reconciliation with production and warehouse partners, conduct physical counts, resolve reconciling items and recommend provisions or write‑offs for obsolete stock.
- Serve as business owner for key financial processes, implement internal control improvements and run annual Internal Control Self‑Assessment per LVMH guidelines.
- Act as primary contact for external and internal auditors; coordinate audit requests and ensure timely, accurate delivery of documentation.
- Drive process simplification and automation initiatives in collaboration with FP&A and MHUSA back office; support ad hoc financial analyses and special projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent; Master’s degree preferred. CPA certification strongly preferred.
- Minimum 10–12 years of progressive accounting experience, including 2–3 years in a controller or senior accounting role within a multinational or complex environment.
- Deep technical knowledge of accounting principles and controls; practical experience with GAAP and IFRS reporting requirements.
- Proven experience managing audits (external and internal) and implementing audit recommendations.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to prioritise, manage peak workloads and motivate cross‑functional partners.
- Advanced proficiency in SAP, Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with e‑banking platforms and corporate reporting tools.
- Authorization to work in the United States on a full‑time basis (external applicants must be currently authorized).

Experience
Ten to twelve years of accounting experience, with at least 2–3 years in a similar controller or senior accounting role. Demonstrated track record in general ledger management, financial reporting to executive stakeholders, treasury oversight, inventory accounting and audit coordination within an international corporate environment.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; Master's degree preferred. CPA strongly preferred.
