Finance Intern at Moët Hennessy Singapore – 6-month internship in Accounts Receivable and Treasury operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support Treasury operations including banking portal administration, Know Your Customer (KYC) updates, and bank liaison tasks
- Assist in preparing Statements of Account (SOA) and supporting daily cash application by matching receipts to invoices
- Maintain AR trackers, logs, and supporting schedules under guidance
- Perform routine checks on customer balances and compile information for sales order release requests
- Assist in maintaining collection follow-up trackers and escalate exceptions to the supervising Accountant
- Support preparation of AR aging reports and simple financial summaries
- Extract data from enterprise systems and templates; perform basic data validation for completeness, formatting, and consistency
- Assist in preparing documentation for credit notes, refunds, and adjustments
- Support routine interdepartmental communication with Customer Service, Finance, and Supply Chain teams
- Assist in organizing documentation and files for audit and compliance purposes
- Follow standard operating procedures with accuracy and prompt escalation of issues requiring guidance
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed studies in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related discipline
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Organized and proactive approach to task management
- Ability to work in a structured learning environment under close supervision
Skills
Experience
Beginner level; no prior professional finance experience required. Academic knowledge of accounting principles and eagerness to apply learning in a business environment are valued.
Education
Pursuing or holding a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
