Moët Hennessy seeks a Finance Director (AGS) in Munich to lead DACH finance, reporting and compliance for the shared service centre.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and operational financial leadership for Germany, Austria and Switzerland (AGS) across planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance management.
- Ensure accurate, timely monthly/quarterly closings, statutory accounting and Group reporting while maintaining high data quality and adherence to corporate standards.
- Strengthen finance governance, internal controls and compliance (including tax, GDPR and audit interactions); oversee non-commercial legal matters and external counsel engagement when required.
- Act as a trusted business partner to Managing Directors and senior leadership, delivering executive-level insights to support strategic decisions and transformation programmes.
- Manage cash flow and working capital, support treasury relationships and identify levers to improve liquidity and operational efficiency.
- Lead data and digital transformation initiatives for finance: advance BI usage, master data governance and finance tool roadmaps (ERP/BI), and drive continuous process improvement.
- Provide functional oversight of indirect purchasing to reinforce spend governance, controls and savings opportunities.
- Build, inspire and develop the Finance & Compliance leadership team, driving talent acquisition, coaching, succession planning and performance management.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or related discipline; professional accounting/controlling qualification is a strong advantage.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive finance experience in an international environment with demonstrable leadership exposure.
- Proven experience in FP&A, controlling, statutory accounting, Group reporting and finance business partnering.
- Track record with shared services, process standardization/automation and delivering productivity improvements.
- Demonstrable experience designing, testing and remediating internal control frameworks, including access controls and segregation of duties.
- Hands-on ownership or steering of an ERP and finance reporting stack (e.g., SAP + BW, Power BI) and experience driving system roadmaps and change management.
- Fluent English (written and spoken) required; German strongly preferred.
- Evidence of presenting complex financial and data topics to MD/CFO level and influencing across matrix organisations.

Education
Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or a related discipline; professional accounting/controlling qualification is a plus.
