Moët Hennessy seeks a Finance Director (AGS) in Munich to lead financial planning, reporting and governance across Germany, Austria & Switzerland.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and operational financial leadership for AGS across Germany, Austria and Switzerland, driving planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance management.
- Ensure accurate, timely monthly and quarterly closings, statutory accounting and Group reporting while guaranteeing data quality and compliance with corporate standards.
- Strengthen finance governance, internal control environment and compliance (including tax, risk management and GDPR); support internal/external audits and manage non-commercial legal matters as needed.
- Act as a trusted finance business partner to Managing Directors and the leadership team, delivering executive-level insights to inform investment, transformation and cost-discipline decisions.
- Steer cash flow and working capital management, liaise with treasury, and identify levers to improve liquidity and operational efficiency.
- Lead data and digital transformation in finance: advance BI usage, master data governance and lead finance-related IT and tool projects.
- Provide oversight of indirect purchasing to strengthen spend governance, controls and identify savings opportunities.
- Recruit, develop and lead the Finance & Compliance leadership team, building succession plans and embedding rigorous performance management.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or a related discipline; professional accounting/controlling qualification is a plus.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive finance experience in an international environment with demonstrable leadership of managers and leadership teams.
- Proven experience in controlling/FP&A, accounting and close, Group reporting and finance business partnering; shared services exposure preferred.
- Hands-on ownership experience of ERP and finance reporting stacks (e.g., SAP landscape) and leading related roadmaps and change initiatives.
- Proven track record in designing, testing and remediating internal control frameworks, including segregation of duties and access controls.
- Fluent English required; German is a strong advantage.

Experience
Minimum 10 years of progressive finance experience in an international environment, including leadership responsibility, strong exposure to controlling/FP&A, accounting and Group reporting; experience with shared services, process standardisation and transformation is highly desirable.
Education
Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or related discipline; professional accounting/controlling qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) is a plus.
