Moët & Chandon — Experimental Cellar Team Leader (contract) in Oiry/Epernay, France. Short fixed‑term harvest role leading experimental vinification trials.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate all activities of the Experimental Cellar during the harvest period, including supervision of cellar staff and daily team organisation.
  • Ensure correct implementation and execution of R&D trials from grape reception through vinification in strict compliance with experimental protocols and technical specifications.
  • Verify application of vinification strategies and process parameters; maintain accurate records and sample traceability for each trial.
  • Optimise use of available technical resources and equipment to meet trial objectives and preserve product integrity.
  • Manage operational logistics during harvest (scheduling, grape reception, hygiene and safety), including occasional travel between Epernay and Oiry.
  • Report to research/technical management on progress, deviations and results; propose corrective actions when required.

Qualifications

  • Diplôme National d’Œnologue, Ingénieur Agronome or equivalent qualification in oenology or viticulture.
  • Driving licence category B (required).
  • Fluent French (working language for on‑site operations).

Experience
