Moët & Chandon seeks Experimental Cellar Sampling Assistants for 2026 harvest in Epernay, France—two-week temporary roles at the Robert-Jean de Vogüé Research Centre.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct daily sampling according to planned schedule to monitor fermentations and vinification progress
- Generate and label sampling batches in real-time using dedicated software systems
- Ensure proper treatment and traceability of samples, including centrifugation, laboratory submission, and frozen storage
- Maintain real-time documentation of sampling activities and update dashboard tracking metrics (turbidity, density, enumeration, etc.)
- Support experimental cellar operations including pressing, must and wine transfer operations, and fermentation monitoring
- Coordinate information transmission and maintain accurate records across all sampling activities
Qualifications
- Baccalauréat in laboratory science or equivalent technical qualification
- Proficiency with laboratory equipment and techniques
- Strong organizational and administrative capabilities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in data recording

Experience
Entry-level candidates with aptitude for laboratory work are welcome; prior harvest or cellar experience is not required.
Education
Baccalauréat in laboratory science or equivalent technical qualification; or demonstrated predisposition for laboratory activities.
