Moët Hennessy seeks an Environmental & Sustainability Engineer (alternance) in Epernay, France — two‑year apprenticeship starting Sept 2026.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the maintenance and continuous improvement of the integrated environmental management system (SMI); update documentation and participate in working groups.
  • Prepare and submit mandatory regulatory declarations to relevant authorities (DREAL, Agence de l'eau) and ensure compliance with local environmental legislation.
  • Deploy, coordinate and animate environmental action plans across sites to achieve sustainability objectives.
  • Collect, analyse and prepare environmental reporting (e.g., effluents) for internal stakeholders and consolidation.
  • Organise, follow up and participate in internal audits involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and monitor quality audits related to waste sorting and consolidate results across all sites.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in or holding a degree in Environmental Engineering, Sustainable Development or equivalent programme.
  • Proven capacity for project management and facilitation of cross‑functional working groups.
  • Strong written communication, analytical skills and ability to synthesise technical information.
  • Autonomous, proactive, with good interpersonal skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Good command of IT tools with experience in data management and analytical reporting.
  • Possession of a Category B driving licence (frequent travel between sites expected).
