Moët Hennessy seeks Director of Strategy & Business Planning in NYC to lead wine & spirits business roadmap development with $156K–$195K salary.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead the budget process in partnership with the FP&A team on LE1/LE2/Prebud/R&O/Landing deliverables
  • Direct annual planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes in collaboration with Commercial, Finance, Operations, and Maison teams
  • Develop data-driven commercial plans and strategic priorities to achieve portfolio growth and profit objectives
  • Lead price optimization studies and develop pricing strategies to maximize business growth
  • Develop go-to-market strategies for product innovations and limited edition launches, including distribution, market prioritization, and channel activations
  • Conduct regular analysis of brand performance to create fact-based recommendations and action plans addressing risk and supporting growth
  • Establish, monitor, and report on overarching Business and Brand KPIs in collaboration with Brand Marketing and Commercial teams
  • Identify business opportunities in growth markets and underpenetrated consumer segments through collaboration with Business Insight, Data, Analytics, and Commercial Management teams
  • Identify and unlock new sources of revenue growth for the portfolio across 3–5 year horizons
  • Partner with the SVP of Wines & Spirits to identify select strategic initiatives including portfolio strategy, pricing strategy, and SKU rationalization
  • Act as primary point of contact and foster strong collaboration with Maison Business Development teams, Commercial Enablement, Finance, and Business Intelligence teams
  • Develop and maintain strong cross-functional relationships with the commercial organization, Finance, Operations teams, and Maisons; communicate brand group priorities and investment strategies

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or MBA degree and/or equivalent professional experience
  • 8–10 years of experience in business analysis, finance, or business intelligence
  • Excellent analytical and data interpretative skills with ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills with strong ability to articulate strategic point of view
  • High level of organization and project management capabilities with ability to work autonomously
  • Proficiency with large data sets and learning internal database systems (Anaplan, SAP, Nielsen)
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to influence across all organizational levels
  • Demonstrated strength in Strategic Mindset, Business Insights, Balancing Stakeholders, and Planning and Aligning capabilities

Experience

Education

Bachelor's degree required; MBA degree preferred or equivalent professional experience in business planning, finance, or strategic analysis.
