Moët Hennessy seeks a Director of Compensation and HR Systems for EMEA in Paris. Lead reward strategy, HR analytics, and payroll transformation across 80 markets.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all aspects of compensation, benefits, salaries, and benchmarking practices, tracking modern compensation trends
- Collaborate with Compensation & Benefits teams across the organization to align EMEA practices with group guidelines and local legal requirements, including equal pay policies
- Direct the annual compensation review (ICR) process for the EMEA region
- Establish and manage a fair and competitive compensation structure through market-based research and analysis
- Assess and enhance current benefits offerings to support business strategy and employee attraction and retention
- Manage compensation packages for EMEA executive committee members and key functions, validating standard packages submitted by local markets
- Present and submit senior management compensation packages to group reward leadership for approval
- Ensure consistency of international mobility packages across EMEA
- Prepare, present, and submit expatriate packages to group reward leadership and executive leadership
- Coach and train market-based HR teams on compensation and benefits strategy, international mobility, and compensation analysis
- Anticipate and support compliance with salary transparency regulations and evolving European regulatory requirements
- Manage labor costs and workforce evolution in collaboration with the Finance team
- Develop and drive HR key performance indicators (KPIs) in partnership with social HR control and cost management functions to enable data-driven decision-making
- Ensure accuracy and reliability of HR data and develop data literacy across the team
- Oversee and optimize existing HR information systems
- Drive implementation of new solutions to support EMEA strategic objectives
- Lead the EMEA payroll and HR administration transformation project, including tool selection, process harmonization, and change management
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT teams to ensure seamless integration of HR systems and payroll solutions
- Guarantee security, compliance, and integrity of HR data
- Manage, lead, and develop a team of three direct reports and coordinate payroll teams across EMEA markets
- Ensure regional coordination across all EMEA-based teams
- Partner with the Talent Management leader to align talent development with compensation evolution
- Support the team in HR digital transformation and deployment of new HR systems
- Brief and educate the EMEA executive committee and local leaders on compensation and benefits fundamentals and HR systems, ensuring consistent communication
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in compensation, benefits, and HR systems management
- Proven experience building and leading high-performing teams with the ability to influence HR communities
- Established expertise in developing compensation and benefits principles, policies, and international mobility management, ideally within multinational organizations or HR consulting firms
- Ability to partner with and influence business leaders to develop and implement strategic policies and programs aligned with organizational priorities
- Experience managing complex local and regional projects
- Skill in stakeholder management and excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Knowledge of compensation, benefits, and employment laws and regulations across EMEA markets
- Proficiency with MS Office and Excel, with strong analytical and quantitative capabilities
- Experience managing HR information systems (HRIS) projects and payroll transformation at regional scale
- Ability to manage and develop a dedicated HR Systems team
