Role & Responsibilities

  • Localize and implement national brand programming for the Los Angeles / Orange County market, adapting activations to account, distributor and subchannel needs.
  • Conceive and manage high‑impact local programming (brand activations, influencer partnerships, community events) in partnership with Brand and Sales teams.
  • Own A&P budget oversight for assigned brands: identify gaps, assess risk, calculate ROI, and recommend allocations to state/market leadership.
  • Analyze depletion and sell‑through data to surface business opportunities, inform distributor planning, and drive sell‑in and sell‑through performance.
  • Manage distributor and commercial sales relationships for Maison visits, product availability, POSM execution and distributor planning meetings.
  • Lead VAP and Rarities forecasting and allocation locally; act as liaison between Brand Teams and Sales on allocation decisions.
  • Communicate market needs, opportunities and risks upstream to Brand Teams and cascade tools, plans and priorities downstream to commercial teams.
  • Serve as guardian of brand standards, ensuring elevated luxury execution across all market touchpoints.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum 10 years of trade, field or creative marketing experience within wines & spirits, CPG or luxury retail.
  • Proven commercial strategy experience with demonstrated ROI‑oriented trade activation and budget ownership.
  • Deep knowledge of luxury brand standards, channel dynamics, and distributor ecosystems.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple complex projects and stakeholders.
