Moët Hennessy Data Privacy Intern in Singapore – 6-month internship supporting APAC compliance with GDPR and regional privacy regulations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assist the Global DPO in APAC to monitor compliance with data protection laws and regulations, including GDPR and APAC-specific privacy requirements
- Support implementation and monitoring of the company's data protection and governance framework, including privacy policies and data breach management procedures
- Administrate the Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) review process, tracking progress and gathering documentation for regulatory compliance
- Organize training sessions for business groups and new employees on data protection laws, regulations, and data processing obligations
- Handle customer data privacy inquiries and requests, including opt-out, data access, correction, and deletion requests
- Conduct research on emerging data privacy laws and regulations, providing summaries to the Global DPO
- Assist with the annual review of data privacy and protection internal control processes
- Support privacy committee duties, including preparing meeting agendas and minutes
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law, Political Science, or related discipline
- Strong interest in data privacy and protection
- Excellent research, writing, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with data privacy principles and regulations in Korea and Malaysia (preferred)
- Experience with OneTrust data privacy compliance modules (preferred)

Beginner-level; no prior professional experience required. Academic foundation in law or political science and demonstrated interest in data privacy and protection are essential.
Education
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law, Political Science, or a related discipline.
