Moët Hennessy Channel Marketing Manager in Shanghai. Lead wine & spirits activations, strategy, and on-trade campaigns across China.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Define marketing activation plans aligned with consumer demand, brand direction, and specific business requirements for assigned channels
  • Develop and own channel strategy while producing regular tracking reports and competitive analysis
  • Collaborate with Brand Marketing and Sales teams to ensure commercial relevance and consumer focus in all channel activations
  • Acquire channel intelligence and market insights through surveys, regular market visits, and stakeholder engagement
  • Ensure flawless execution of brand campaigns and channel activations across assigned territories
  • Evaluate campaign performance both quantitatively and qualitatively to refine effectiveness of future initiatives
  • Proactively identify performance issues and develop targeted solutions to address them
  • Implement store-specific marketing support programs based on business needs and resource constraints
  • Resolve cross-functional issues related to channel development, trade communication, and customer service
  • Develop systems and processes with Sales Planning and Market Intelligence teams to track activation deployment and effectiveness
  • Allocate projects and tasks among on-trade team members to maximize operational efficiency
  • Build commercial acumen and communication skills within the on-trade team

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or above from a recognized tertiary institution
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Wine & Spirits business or related sector
  • Direct wine sales and/or production experience from local or international brand or distribution company
  • Hypermarket and hotel sales, marketing, or communication experience
  • Solid public training, speaking, and seminar delivery experience
  • Wine-making or sommelier training program design and delivery experience
  • Excellent wines and spirits knowledge (cognac, whisky, champagne, red wine, etc.)
  • Excellent presentation and public speaking skills
  • Excellent social etiquette and cultural awareness
  • Strong listening and communication abilities
  • Demonstrated networking capability to influence purchase decisions
  • Strong time and project management competencies
  • Customer and results-oriented mindset

Experience

Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Wine & Spirits business, sales, marketing, or distribution. Direct wine sales experience, hypermarket or on-trade hospitality experience, and background in campaign management and brand activation are strongly preferred.

Education

Bachelor's degree or above from a recognized tertiary institution. Sommelier certification or wine-making training is preferred.
