Business Solution Owner – Source to Pay (Paris, France) | Luxury wines & spirits employer seeks experienced professional to oversee SAP Ariba, Concur systems and drive procurement process optimization.
Role & Responsibilities
- Ensure reliability and consistency of business solutions; execute administration tasks, data consistency controls, and system issue resolution; lead investigation and reconciliation campaigns across system layers in coordination with IT stakeholders
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation including user and administrator guides
- Provide and facilitate user training in collaboration with IT teams to maximize solution value
- Act as subject-matter expert for global users and IT teams seeking functional guidance
- Safeguard data integrity and access controls
- Animate user communities by promoting tools, encouraging best practice sharing, and assessing adoption and satisfaction metrics
- Gather and synthesize improvement feedback from the business community to inform process optimization and tool enhancements
- Analyze effectiveness and efficiency of existing solutions; formulate recommendations for system improvements and interface optimization
- Define and monitor Key Performance Indicators; benchmark performance against competitors and industry standards; recommend corrective action plans
- Collect and review business needs and evolution requests from key stakeholders
- Challenge evolution requests against core process models
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications and system goals
- Manage the evolution pipeline; assess, prioritize, and recommend needs for stakeholder arbitration
- Collaborate on design, planning, development, and rollout of solution enhancements
- Lead evolution release activities including communication, training, testing, and production deployment
- Establish and optimize solution costs in partnership with IT; balance evolution and operational expenses
- Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for flawless execution
- Monitor technology evolution and recommend relevant applications to the organization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering (or equivalent Master's qualification)
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in finance or procurement at a large international organization, or equivalent tenure in an IT department or consulting firm as a business application manager or expert
- Fluent in English and French (spoken and written)
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel, PowerPoint)
- Demonstrated knowledge of SAP Ariba, Concur, and other procure-to-pay applications
- Strong process management knowledge
- Proven ability to operate effectively across multiple IT systems
- Autonomous, proactive, and results-driven mindset with excellent organizational and multi-project management skills
- Ability to federate and communicate efficiently with diverse, cross-cultural stakeholders
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication capabilities (listening, verbal, and written)
- Demonstrated capacity to navigate complex organizational structures, challenge stakeholders, influence decisions, and lead change management

Direct experience with enterprise procurement systems (SAP Ariba, Concur) and process optimization in global organizations is highly valued.
Education
