Moët Hennessy seeks a Business Analyst in Sydney, Australia to support Travel Retail APAC sales reporting, forecasting and stock management.
Role & Responsibilities
- Consolidate, validate and present monthly sell-out and business performance reports using internal and external data; partner with Travel Retail Sales to identify actions to achieve budget.
- Maintain and update Power BI inputs and dashboards; ensure data integrity, accuracy and completeness across reporting systems.
- Produce forecasts and support the sell-in / sell-out planning cycle, including uploading SKU- and customer-level volume forecasts and performing P&L simulations during budgeting.
- Manage the Open to Buy (OTB) plan and reconcile with forecasts; escalate stock-risk issues and coordinate regional stock allocation across warehouses.
- Track and report Regional Selling Price (RSP) and maintain pricelist harmonisation; investigate and resolve customer pricing queries.
- Monitor and report on A&P and Fund-to-Trade spend versus budget; review customer investments and recommend corrective actions to the Sales team.
- Handle operational commercial tasks: process orders, manage POs and vendor creation requests, follow up accounts receivable, prepare monthly accruals, and ensure systems comply with internal controls.
- Prepare materials for Customer Business Reviews, support ad-hoc commercial analyses and review promotional activations in-market.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a business analysis, commercial planning or finance-support role—preferably within FMCG, luxury goods or travel retail.
- Proven knowledge of financial systems and BI tools such as SAP, Power BI and Qlik.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel; strong presentation skills with PowerPoint and Word.
- Sharp analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable commercial recommendations.
- Commercial acumen and understanding of large-brand business dynamics in wholesale or duty‑free channels.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; organised with strong time-management capabilities.
- Solution-oriented, proactive and able to work collaboratively with cross-functional and regional stakeholders.

At least 3 years of relevant experience in business analysis, commercial finance, or sales planning—experience supporting retail or travel retail sales teams preferred.
Education
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics or a related discipline preferred.
