Moët Hennessy seeks a Brand Manager in Seoul to lead local brand strategy, marketing activations and budget management.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Translate global brand strategy, positioning and Maison guidelines into local brand strategy; propose product pipelines and long-term brand-building programmes aligned with Maison strategy.
  • Own master assets, define messaging, select relevant assets, and develop creative local guidelines and playbooks to brief and inspire the local Customer Marketing team and agencies.
  • Develop annual marketing plans with clear objectives and strategies for specific brands and trade channels.
  • Analyse market trends and activation results to propose actionable growth plans.
  • Interpret sales forecasts with the local Sales team and contribute to value and growth across the North Asia Cluster.
  • Monitor and report brand performance through field visits, consumer intelligence research and qualitative trade feedback.
  • Oversee ATL marketing activations, events and product launches, developing marketing materials and tools.
  • Collaborate with the local Customer Marketing team to define key channels and local objectives for each Maison.
  • Manage external agencies implementing programmes and act as Brand Guardian at consumer events and PR activations.
  • Use digital platforms and build relationships with key press and KOLs to amplify activations and secure positive media coverage.
  • Own the overall ATL and partial BTL advertising and promotion budget, track it, set overarching priorities and identify brand “Big Bets.”
  • Manage and track advertising and promotion spending, prioritise it against brand priorities and growth opportunities, and monitor budget engagement quarterly and annually.
  • Lead relationships with local agencies, activation and PR partners, and the Maisons.
  • Oversee project management to ensure advertising and promotion initiatives are completed successfully and on time.
  • Potentially manage one Assistant Brand Manager, or have no direct reports; provide guidance and support as needed and develop future Moët Hennessy talent.
  • Collaborate across departments, leverage team expertise, navigate the Market/Maison/North Asia Cluster matrix and embody company values.
  • Apply a North Asia perspective and proactively seek synergies with other teams and markets in the cluster.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of marketing experience in related fields, preferably in luxury consumer goods and FMCG; a proven track record of executing marketing campaigns and launching new products.
  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of consumer business objectives, the competitive landscape, consumer behaviour, and current marketing tools and technologies.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills for managing stakeholders across global, regional and local markets.
  • Creative, out-of-the-box and analytical thinking; digital proficiency; project management and problem-solving abilities; bold thinking and polished execution, with pragmatic, fact-based evaluation of business opportunities.
  • Fluency in Korean and English is essential; proficiency in other languages is highly preferred.
  • Detail-oriented and appreciative of luxury; highly motivated, energetic, enthusiastic and team-oriented; organised and structured, able to handle concurrent tasks and deadlines and adapt to changing environments; professional ethos and responsibility for visible, complex projects.
  • Experience managing budgets and monitoring financial indicators; ability to set clear KPIs and monitor ROI.
