Brand Manager position at Moët Hennessy, Mumbai – luxury wines marketing role on a 9-month contract basis.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive brand plans and marketing strategies in partnership with the Marketing Manager, incorporating innovative experiential events and campaign activations
  • Conceptualize and execute brand-led promotions, communication campaigns, and public relations initiatives tailored to drive unique consumer experiences and strengthen brand positioning
  • Propose strategic brand partnerships and associations aligned with brand positioning, target audience, and approved budgets
  • Drive promotion execution and deliver timely marketing support across on-trade and off-trade channels, including hotels, restaurants, retail locations, and airport duty-free environments
  • Develop and implement integrated public relations and digital/social media strategies aligned with strategic objectives and target audience demographics in partnership with external agencies
  • Oversee visibility and merchandising initiatives across trade channels, identifying and capitalizing on key market opportunities to enhance brand presence
  • Lead the management and monitoring of promotional packs, point-of-sale materials, and limited edition inventory, ensuring correct stock classification and effective trade activation planning
  • Analyze brand performance metrics and prepare comprehensive business review reports for visiting regional, global senior management, and Maison representatives
  • Manage external contracts with key trade partners, tracking volume performance against committed activations and monitoring competitive positioning across distribution channels
  • Communicate brand plan requirements to the sales team, ensuring effective and coordinated implementation across all business channels
  • Oversee financial accountability by managing advertising and promotional expenditure within approved parameters while delivering brand revenue and contribution objectives
  • Review sales forecasting data and collaborate with supply chain teams to address potential supply issues and ensure inventory optimization

Qualifications

  • 7–10 years of professional experience in brand marketing or related marketing discipline
  • Demonstrated expertise in digital marketing, social media management, and e-commerce channel strategy
  • Deep understanding of the wines and spirits industry landscape, market trends, and consumer behavior
  • Proficiency in retail trade marketing and go-to-market strategies
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
  • Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Strategy, or related field from a premier institution
  • Excellent written and verbal proficiency in English
  • Strong numerical aptitude and data-driven analytical capabilities

Education

Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Strategy, Business Administration, or related discipline from a premier institution.
