Role & Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive marketing strategies and annual brand plans to strengthen brand image, awareness, and market competitiveness in alignment with corporate and brand guidelines
- Lead the implementation of above-the-line (ATL) and below-the-line (BTL) marketing programs to drive volume, revenue, market share, and profitability within allocated advertising and promotional budgets
- Develop pricing strategies collaboratively with the Commercial Director to maximize net sales value and ensure alignment with corporate guidelines
- Manage and evaluate Media, PR, and BTL agencies to ensure optimal performance and effective execution of all marketing initiatives
- Monitor brand performance through market visits, consumer research, and trade feedback to identify trends and opportunities
- Collaborate closely with sales management to execute trade marketing plans and drive commercial alignment
- Build and develop an effective team by fostering talent development, enhancing capabilities, and maintaining strong cross-functional relationships with sales teams
- Identify new product categories and innovation opportunities for launch in Malaysia, developing comprehensive business cases and managing the innovation approval process with regional stakeholders
- Work with the Marketing Director and regional/global brand teams to translate regional brand plans into local market execution
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of relevant marketing and brand management experience in organizations with operational complexity and multicultural environments
- Industry experience in Wine & Spirits, FMCG, Consumer goods, or Luxury sectors highly desirable
- Demonstrated strong leadership capabilities and consistent business achievement
- Proven ability to lead substantial teams, build organizational capabilities, and transform commercial structures
- Strong commercial acumen combined with marketing and digital proficiency
- Comprehensive understanding of consumer behavior, market trends, and contemporary marketing technologies
- Excellent creative and strategic thinking skills
- Strong written and spoken English communication and presentation abilities
