Billing and Inventory Analyst at Moët Hennessy USA in New York—manage bailment billing and inventory reconciliations for this luxury wine and spirits company.
Role & Responsibilities
- Execute bailment billing processes, including uploads and conversions for timely and accurate invoicing
- Review product transactions, coding, and pricing to identify issues impacting billing; coordinate resolution with Operations
- Prepare and deliver monthly inventory reconciliations for control states in partnership with relevant stakeholders
- Assist the Inventory Accounting Manager in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and hard close schedules and analyses, including sales accruals and inventory reports
- Review inventory issues and propose adjustments or corrections to the Inventory Control Manager for approval
- Participate in physical inventory counts
- Assist with implementation and training of system updates and changes, providing management briefings on impacts
- Support planning and execution of new product, process, and system launches
- Prepare and present schedules to satisfy Financial and Internal Control audit requirements
- Maintain understanding of internal control policies and ensure compliance of accounting processes
- Document and continually update all processes
- Provide collaborative support and guidance to Accounting and Finance teams; build cross-functional partnerships
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (preferably in accounting, finance, or related field)
- 1–3 years of relevant professional accounting or inventory management experience
- Strong systems knowledge and acumen, including demonstrated proficiency in SAP
- Wines and spirits industry experience preferred
- Extremely organized with high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with limited direction
- Highly adaptable with ability to set and adjust priorities
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills

1–3 years of relevant professional experience in accounting, finance, or inventory management. Wines and spirits industry experience is advantageous but not required.
Education
Bachelor's degree required, preferably in accounting, finance, or a related field.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 67,000 to USD 84,000 per annum.
