Moët Hennessy seeks Associate Manager, Field Marketing in NYC to lead Champagne & Sparkling brand strategy, trade engagement, and luxury market activations.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Identify local market opportunities for image-building activations and flagship moments aligned with Champagne and Sparkling portfolio strategy
  • Organize and execute winemaker visits, trade-focused dinners, and events to drive engagement within the NYC wine community
  • Localize brand programming to meet specific market, account, and distributor needs while maintaining alignment with Brand Team direction
  • Manage local brand programming execution, track performance, analyze ROI, and contribute to post-activity recaps
  • Partner with Brand and Market Sales teams to develop programming ideas and support activation logistics, account opportunities, and influencer engagement
  • Track advertising and promotional budgets, identify risks and opportunities, and provide data-based recommendations to market leadership
  • Serve as liaison between Brand Teams and Sales Teams to ensure alignment across sales objectives and brand equity goals
  • Spend significant time in field selling and activating programs at the account level in partnership with account leads
  • Identify new account opportunities and support customer relationship strengthening through strategic programming
  • Build strong awareness of competitive activity and evolving consumer behavior through regular trade and customer engagement
  • Translate field insights into actionable recommendations for placements, visibility, and velocity improvements
  • Coordinate with distributors and Commercial Sales on winemaker visits, planning, and product availability
  • Assist in management of local point-of-sale materials in partnership with Account Leads to ensure premium, on-brand execution
  • Prepare for and participate in Global Sales Manager meetings and distributor engagement
  • Deliver executional excellence ensuring all activations and brand presence reflect luxury standards
  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers, local influencers, and members of the sommelier community
  • Support placements in key accounts through staff trainings, vintage tastings, buyer and consumer engagement, and wine dinners
  • Drive portfolio value with emphasis on vintages, prestige marques, and high-value brand-building opportunities
  • Support local 360° programming across channels, including high-profile opportunities such as the US Open and art fair activations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 3+ years of experience in field marketing, trade marketing, brand marketing, sales, or related commercial role, preferably in wine and spirits, luxury goods, or hospitality
  • Strong knowledge of the Champagne and Sparkling category, including familiarity with prestige cuvées, vintages, and luxury account strategy
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with trade, customers, distributors, and the sommelier community
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills with polish and confidence to represent luxury brands in high-profile environments
  • Strong commercial acumen including budget awareness, ROI mindset, and understanding of market performance drivers
  • Highly collaborative, organized, and comfortable operating cross-functionally
  • Must be based in New York City and able to spend substantial time in market
  • Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
