Moët Hennessy seeks an Area Sales Manager for Central Switzerland to drive brand portfolio growth across premium on-trade channels.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Establish and nurture long-term customer relationships within the assigned sales area to achieve quantitative and qualitative volume and value targets
  • Manage all on-trade customer relationships and services, ensuring optimal product visibility and distribution within venues such as bars, restaurants, clubs, and hotels
  • Professionally plan and execute customer visits, including preparation, follow-up, and documentation using available sales and planning data
  • Manage allocations, customer complaints, claims, approved returns, and supply-related matters with professionalism and efficiency
  • Drive sales volume, value, and sustainable profitability across on-trade accounts within the territory
  • Build and strengthen relationships with existing on-trade accounts, strategically expanding the product portfolio within their venues
  • Prospect and recruit new on-trade accounts to expand the customer portfolio in high-potential channels and venues
  • Identify new consumer touchpoints and growth opportunities within the nightlife and hospitality sector while adhering to brand distribution strategies
  • Utilize available commercial budgets and support tools to achieve area targets in accordance with corporate guidelines and on-trade segmentation strategy
  • Achieve product-specific goals such as listings and selective distribution expansion aligned with channel strategy
  • Serve as a brand ambassador and drive brand awareness and desirability within on-trade venues, leveraging strong wine knowledge to create consumer demand
  • Execute and safeguard brand strategies and guidelines provided by the marketing department
  • Implement high-impact brand marketing activations, visibility standards, and merchandising guidelines across regional partners
  • Support and execute creative on-trade events and consumer experiences in close collaboration with the marketing team while respecting brand guidelines
  • Deliver engaging product training for venue staff, trade partners, and consumers
  • Continuously monitor and report key performance indicators and competitor activities
  • Collaborate and communicate efficiently with internal stakeholders (Marketing, Customer Service, National Sales Management) and external partners

Qualifications

  • Educational degree in Sales, Business, or a related field
  • Demonstrated commercial experience of 3–5 years, ideally in on-trade, hospitality, or premium beverage sectors
  • Strong knowledge of the Swiss hospitality and beverage market with established local and regional familiarity
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain enduring relationships with key stakeholders and trade partners
  • Highly organized and rigorous approach to business development and account management
  • Commercial assertiveness and skilled negotiation capabilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Fluency in German (Swiss German strongly preferred) and English; French is a plus
  • Passion for wines and spirits with affinity for gastronomy and hospitality

Direct experience with Swiss market dynamics and regional account management is preferred.

Education

Educational degree in Sales, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related commercial field.
