Moët & Chandon seeks an Administrative Apprentice — Upstream Operations in Epernay, France (1–2 year alternance starting Sept 2026).

Role & Responsibilities

  • Train on and progressively perform régie (excise/regulatory) tasks including control of Documents d’Accompagnement (DCA) and reconciliation of physical flows with SAP and internal systems.
  • Support monitoring of regulatory stock items (capsules, bottles, circles) and participate in period-specific régie activities (e.g. vendanges/harvest).
  • Collect and verify data for monthly regulatory declarations (DRM Douanes, CIVC, INAO); ensure coherence between physical movements and IT records.
  • Deliver ad hoc support to internal teams (Production, Œnology, Finance) on régie-related queries.
  • Lead a substantive audit project on the Réserve Individuelle (RI): map processes and flows, perform in-depth volume reconciliations between CIVC declarations and internal records, identify and justify discrepancies.
  • Design or improve RI control and monitoring tools (dashboards, movement histories) and explore automation/IA-assisted solutions to secure tracking and reporting.
  • Participate in billing for AOC supplies related to harvest and RI release processes.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in or eligible for an alternance/apprenticeship programme (Bac+1 to Bac+2 level) such as BUT GEA, BTS or equivalent; able to commit to a 1- or 2-year alternance beginning September 2026.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and experience or willingness to use Power Query and Power BI for data preparation and dashboards.
  • Interest in working with complex, regulated data and in understanding flows, processes and regulatory rules (douane/CIVC/INAO).
  • Solid numeracy, attention to detail, analytical mindset and a methodical approach to reconciliation and control work.
  • Good interpersonal skills, discretion with confidential data, curiosity and capacity for progressive autonomy.

Open to beginners; suitable for candidates with little or no professional experience who are enrolled in a Bac+1/2 alternance programme and seeking a 1–2 year apprenticeship in regulatory/administrative upstream operations.
