Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and execution of temporary activations, PM redress, HPP activations, window setups and promotional installations across Travel Retail APAC.
  • Adapt global Maison campaign toolkits for fit and optimal use in APAC Global Retail & Travel (GRT) environments to ensure a seamless shopper journey.
  • Align product planograms with key campaigns, tactical activations and visual merchandising strategies to maximise retail impact and equity.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, retail marketing, design, merchandising and retail operations to define activation strategy and objectives.
  • Develop and manage detailed activation plans, timelines and roll-out across multiple store locations, ensuring quality and on-time delivery.
  • Manage external partners and agencies on design development and adaptation; supervise contractors for material qualification and drive cost efficiency.
  • Monitor and analyse activation performance on customer engagement and sales; synthesize design insights and recommendations for subsequent campaigns.
  • Prepare regular status reports and post-activation learnings for senior management.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Industrial Design, Visual Merchandising, Graphic Design or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in retail activation, visual merchandising or retail design; 5–8 years preferred with luxury background.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, and fluency with Microsoft Office.
  • Demonstrable experience managing agencies, contractors and multi-location roll-outs in a retail context.
  • Highly organised, solution-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; fluent English required, additional APAC languages advantageous.

Experience

Minimum 5 years of professional experience in retail activation, visual merchandising or retail design, ideally 5–8 years in luxury retail and with exposure to travel retail channels.
