Moët Hennessy France | Accounts Payable Accountant & Financial Analyst | Levallois-Perret 4-month contract starting August 2024.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee vendor invoicing and payment processes for off-trade accounts (major retail, distributors, e-commerce platforms) from receipt through settlement
- Record, validate, and reconcile accounting entries; manage payment tracking and debtor account administration
- Handle customer and supplier follow-ups, dispute resolution, and billing inquiries
- Monitor and analyze monthly invoicing data via the Cockpit platform
- Serve as primary accounting liaison for assigned scope
- Input and track commercial cooperation conditions in SAP
- Validate and ensure accuracy of FTT (Trade Terms) provisions
- Investigate variances, justify account balances, and correct identified anomalies
- Develop and maintain monthly dashboards and enhance reporting through Power BI
- Monitor alignment between invoicing and provisions in coordination with commercial management
- Act as subject matter expert on accounting and analytics tools including Power BI, Qlik Sense, Excel (macros), and SAP
- Drive process automation and recommend workflow improvements
- Collaborate with IT teams on continuous tool optimization
- Actively support month-end closes including account reconciliation, VAT, advance payments, intercompany transactions, and debtor balance justification
- Assist with internal and external audits
- Champion improvement initiatives and contribute to cross-functional finance and technology projects
Qualifications
- Upper secondary education in accounting, financial management, or finance (Bac+2 to Bac+5 level)
- Minimum 3–5 years of proven experience in accounts receivable/payable, supplier accounting, or financial control
- Ideally FMCG or retail sector background
- Strong Excel proficiency including macros and pivot tables
- SAP knowledge
- Familiarity with Power BI, Vistex, Nintex, and Qlik Sense is valued

Experience
Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, vendor accounting, or financial control, preferably within fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) or retail environments.
Education
Upper secondary education in accounting, financial management, or finance (Bac+2 to Bac+5 equivalent).
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Levallois-Perret, Île-de-France, France, with easy access to Paris.
