Moët Hennessy seeks an Account Manager Specialist in Amsterdam to grow the independent specialist channel across the Randstad region.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of independent specialist customers (liquor stores, fine wine shops and specialist retailers) across the Randstad region to deliver sales growth, distribution and profitability targets.
  • Lead annual account negotiations, define trade terms and build promotional plans tailored to each specialist customer.
  • Plan and execute best-in-class in-store visibility and activation in line with brand guidelines and commercial strategy.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities to strengthen Moët Hennessy’s presence in the Dutch specialist channel.
  • Visit accounts regularly to build relationships, monitor execution at point of sale and ensure perfect brand representation.
  • Support Key Account Manager initiatives to grow indirect business via preferred wholesale partners.
  • Monitor sales performance and local market dynamics; provide actionable insights and recommendations to the Benelux commercial team.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Supply Chain and Finance to ensure seamless account delivery and cross-channel alignment.
  • Represent the brands at tastings, events and trade activations to reinforce trade and consumer relationships.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years’ professional experience in account management or sales within FMCG, luxury goods, or Wine & Spirits.
  • Proven knowledge of the Dutch retail and specialist channel, preferably with an existing network in the Randstad region (Amsterdam, Rotterdam, The Hague, Utrecht).
  • Strong commercial acumen with negotiation experience and basic financial literacy (margins, pricing, ROI).
  • Excellent relationship management and communication skills; organised and commercially driven.
  • Fluency in Dutch and English; candidate must be resident or based within the working area.

Experience
