Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver territory sales and market‑share growth across On‑trade, Off‑trade and eRetail channels to meet monthly, quarterly and annual targets set by the State Manager.
  • Secure and expand points of distribution; achieve merchandising, facings and display objectives that prioritise MH brands over competitors.
  • Design and execute bespoke activation programmes and in‑store/on‑site animations; track execution and ROI through Salesforce.
  • Act as a brand ambassador by conveying product heritage and craft through high‑impact storytelling and experiential selling.
  • Use Salesforce, QLIK and Aspire to record call activity, complete on‑premise distribution surveys, monitor KPIs and report insights to the sales team.
  • Monitor competitor activity, pricing and promotions within the territory and provide actionable market intelligence.
  • Manage customer credit exposure and collections; liaise with Sales Manager and National Credit Manager to mitigate bad‑debt risk.
  • Ensure strict adherence to commercial contracts, company policies and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

  • Fluent written and spoken English.
  • Minimum three years' commercial sales experience with an international FMCG or liquor business.
  • Strong knowledge of wine and spirits products and the On/Off/eRetail channel dynamics.
  • Proven ability to meet sales targets and manage key accounts in a territory role.
  • Advanced presentation, negotiation and stakeholder‑management capabilities.

Experience

At least 3 years of sales experience, preferably within an international FMCG or liquor company, with demonstrated success growing distribution and revenue across On‑trade, Off‑trade and eRetail channels.

Diploma or bachelor's degree in business, marketing, hospitality or a related discipline preferred; equivalent commercial experience will be considered.
