Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimise commercial relationships with a portfolio of assigned on‑trade accounts in Amsterdam, protecting and growing value, volume and distribution.
  • Prospect and secure new trade partners and listings; pursue targeted ‘hunting’ opportunities to expand footprint within the region.
  • Prepare commercial offers, calculate investments and pricing, and negotiate long‑term contracts and commercial deals with F&B directors and buyers.
  • Own order management and credit follow‑up for assigned accounts, coordinating closely with customer service and finance.
  • Use the sales CRM (Sales force) daily to log meeting notes, plan visits, track distribution and record sales opportunities.
  • Collaborate with marketing and brand managers to design and deliver bespoke in‑venue activations, brand‑building events and rate‑of‑sale programs.
  • Provide monthly sales forecasts to the ON‑Trade director and business controlling team; adopt a data‑driven approach to account planning.
  • Act as a brand ambassador at trade activations and events; deliver product tastings and training sessions for trade partners.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business or business management.
  • Minimum 3 years of commercial sales experience, preferably within hospitality or on‑trade channels.
  • Resident in the Randstad area, preferably Amsterdam; possession of a valid driving licence.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and oral.
  • Flexible availability to work non‑standard hours required for trade activations and events.
