Moët Hennessy Account Manager On Trade role in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Manage luxury on-trade accounts and drive business development.
Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain and optimize commercial relationships with assigned portfolio of on-trade accounts, with emphasis on Amsterdam-based establishments
- Develop business growth across existing accounts whilst identifying and pursuing new trade partnership opportunities within targeted segments
- Manage the complete order lifecycle and serve as primary contact for customer orders, coordinating closely with customer service teams
- Monitor credit management for assigned accounts and ensure compliance with financial parameters
- Utilize Sales Force CRM to build detailed account history including visit notes, sales pipeline planning, and distribution tracking
- Execute against quantified targets for value, volume, and distribution through mastery of the sales cycle journey
- Conduct continuous market prospecting to identify new trade partners and secure additional listings within established accounts
- Collaborate with the marketing department to design and execute tailor-made brand experiences and activation programs at partner locations
- Negotiate brand investment and activation agreements with marketing teams and account stakeholders
- Drive creative rate-of-sale and brand-building activations to strengthen Moët Hennessy portfolio presence
- Deliver monthly sales forecasts to the On Trade Director and business controlling team
- Serve as brand ambassador and representative during industry events and trade activations
- Conduct product tastings and provide champagne, wine, and spirits training to trade partners
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in business management or related discipline
- Minimum 3 years of professional sales experience, with preference for hospitality sector background
- Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and verbal
- Valid driving license
- Residing in the Randstad Area, preferably Amsterdam
- Demonstrated passion for hospitality and established network within the Amsterdam trade market
- Data-driven approach to financial account analysis and sales planning
- Proven entrepreneurial spirit with ability to establish relationships and negotiate commercial agreements
- Strong presentation skills and high level of enthusiasm
- Expert knowledge of premium champagne, wines, and spirits categories
- Understanding of the luxury segment and Moët Hennessy's heritage and brand positioning
- Cross-functional team collaboration capability
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years of professional sales experience, with preference for roles within the hospitality, food and beverage, or luxury on-trade sectors. Demonstrated track record of developing key accounts, closing commercial deals, and managing complex customer relationships with F&B directors and venue managers.
Education
Bachelor's degree, preferably in business management or a related commercial discipline.
