Account Manager, Modern On-Trade at Moët Hennessy, Seoul | Drive luxury wine and spirits sales growth in hospitality venues. Hybrid role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Achieve individual sales targets and volume growth objectives while driving profitability across assigned on-trade accounts
- Explore new outlets and expand brand distribution network within the modern trade segment
- Call on assigned major customers and maintain quality service standards; develop and sustain strong working relationships with all outlet partners
- Handle purchasing orders and deliveries coordination with the Customer Service team
- Maintain an accurate, updated customer database and evaluate outlet coverage, call frequencies, and cycles; propose adjustments as necessary
- Propose and execute promotional plans and venues; ensure promotions are conducted efficiently and effectively within budget
- Ensure individual product promotion, display, and merchandising are properly conducted in each outlet; intensify brand visibility through impact and quality merchandising
- Work closely with Brand Managers and Customer Marketing to evaluate and improve promotion effectiveness and operational efficiencies
- Monitor retail pricing and competitor activities including pricing and placement strategies; update systems accordingly
Qualifications
- 7–10 years of relevant sales experience in organizations with multicultural and complex business environments
- Industry experience in Wine & Spirits, FMCG, Consumer Goods, or Luxury sector highly desirable
- In-depth knowledge of liquor consumption trends, habits, and preferences of Korean consumers
- Strong understanding of large brand business and market dynamics
- Proven ability to manage key customer relationships and expand distribution networks
- Experience with promotional planning, merchandising, and trade marketing
Skills
Experience
Minimum 10 years of relevant sales experience gained from companies with organizational complexity and multicultural business environment. Industry experience in Wine & Spirits, FMCG, Consumer Goods, or Luxury sector is highly desirable. Demonstrated expertise in managing large brand portfolios and complex on-trade relationships is essential.
