Moët & Chandon in Epernay, France, seeks an Oenology Development Intern for a 6-month full-time internship starting between March and May 2026. Join a leading luxury brand in the wine and spirits industry.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Understand the synthesis mechanisms of varietal thiol aroma precursors in the pre-fermentation phase.
  • Study oenological practices to protect primary aromas during fermentation and post-fermentation.
  • Conduct trials related to aroma precursor synthesis and protection.
  • Monitor and manage grape maturity.
  • Develop and oversee operational trials during harvest and vinification.
  • Perform bibliographic research to propose new insights.

Qualifications

  • Education in viticulture and oenology or DNO.
  • Interest in fieldwork.
  • Attention to detail, responsiveness, and reliability.
  • Proactive with a critical mindset.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Driver's license preferred.
