Miu Miu seeks Retail Merchandising Assistant – Bags in Milano to support global product, stock, and commercial performance management.
Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare weekly and monthly business reviews, performance recaps, and comprehensive reporting on Bags business metrics
- Monitor sales, inventory levels, and product performance to identify key opportunities, risks, and required corrective actions
- Support business planning initiatives, develop strategic presentations, and design reporting tools for performance tracking
- Coordinate product selection and management across collections, launches, visual merchandising campaigns, e-commerce channels, pop-ups, and trunk shows
- Monitor product performance metrics and consolidate market feedback to identify collection development opportunities
- Support seasonal buying cycles, collection debriefs, and comprehensive product documentation
- Manage weekly stock replenishment and allocation decisions in coordination with supply chain teams
- Identify and address inventory imbalances across global markets
- Execute follow-up on stock transfers, new orders, and specific commercial requirements
- Serve as the day-to-day headquarters contact for local markets on Bags merchandising matters
- Liaise with worldwide e-commerce teams as a primary resource for product information, feedback collection, and commercial opportunity identification through structured weekly meetings
- Consolidate market feedback on product performance, client demand, and emerging commercial opportunities
- Coordinate across supply chain, visual merchandising, and other headquarters functions to ensure strategic alignment
- Prepare meetings, presentations, and business reviews while ensuring accountability for agreed action items
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Economics or related field
- Minimum 2 years of professional work experience
- Solid knowledge of the luxury sector and product management principles
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams
- Strong results-oriented and objective-driven approach to work
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Advanced English language proficiency (CEFR C1 level)

Experience
Minimum 2 years of professional experience in merchandising, retail operations, product management, or a related discipline within the fashion or luxury sector.
Education
Master's degree in Economics or equivalent business-related discipline.

The successful candidate will be located in Milan, Lombardy, Italy.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position is EUR 35,000 per annum.
