Role & Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Senior Merchandising Manager to achieve sales and sell-through targets.
  • Oversee and analyze daily, monthly, and annual sales performance to meet budgetary goals.
  • Develop and implement buying strategies in alignment with headquarters and report lines.
  • Identify and curate target assortments to meet regional market demands and maximize sales opportunities.
  • Conduct product training for regional teams, including pre-launch and in-season sessions.
  • Manage special projects such as capsule collections, store events, restyling, pop-ups, and Gaisho events.
  • Monitor inventory levels to optimize sales and maintain stable stock for carryover items, achieving seasonal sell-through targets.
  • Conduct extensive market research and analysis.
  • Foster strong collaboration with Visual Merchandising, Retail, Stores, and other related divisions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Business proficiency in English and Japanese.
  • Over 10 years of merchandising experience in the luxury industry.
  • Experience in a retail environment with comprehensive knowledge of retail processes and procedures.
  • Willingness to travel.

Experience

A minimum of 10 years in merchandising within the luxury sector, with hands-on retail experience.
