Miu Miu seeks a Department Manager in New York to lead a product department, drive sales and deliver exceptional client service.
Role & Responsibilities
- Act as a brand ambassador and owner of the assigned product department, responsible for achieving qualitative and quantitative targets.
- Lead, coach and motivate the department team to exceed individual and collective KPIs and deliver exceptional client service.
- Drive customer acquisition and loyalty through proactive clienteling and support of local sales initiatives.
- Analyse department performance, define corrective actions and provide commercial suggestions to the Store Manager.
- Maintain in-depth product knowledge and ensure the department’s visual presentation and grooming standards.
- Ensure efficient back-of-house organisation and protection of company assets; support e-commerce channel development.
- Monitor market trends and share insights with relevant functions to inform merchandising and sales strategies.
- Run regular briefings and facilitate effective communication across the store team.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership skills with ability to train, inspire and develop retail teams.
- Strong customer-service orientation and demonstrated clienteling capability.
- Business-driven mindset with experience analysing sales performance and implementing action plans.
- Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and problem‑solving ability.
- Passion for the assigned product category and for luxury fashion, art or design.
- Business or Retail Management degree or equivalent is a plus.
- Fluent English; additional languages are an advantage.

Minimum 3+ years of progressive retail experience with demonstrable supervisory or departmental leadership responsibility, ideally within luxury fashion or premium retail environments.
Education
Business/Retail Management degree or equivalent is a plus.
