Miu Miu Department Manager, Hong Kong – Lead luxury retail sales team, drive performance targets, and deliver exceptional client experiences in a prestigious fashion environment.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Drive the Department team to exceed financial targets and maximize sales performance and contribution to store success
  • Support the Store Manager in developing and implementing business plans through performance analysis and action plan proposals
  • Ensure the Department team achieves all KPI targets and foster cross-selling and upselling across product categories
  • Maintain a presence on the sales floor, delivering the highest standard of client approach and service
  • Foster omni-channel awareness across the team and encourage utilization of digital tools to strengthen client relationships and achieve business objectives
  • Drive e-commerce channel development through timely order fulfillment and consistently high service standards
  • Monitor market trends relevant to the department and share insights with appropriate functions
  • Ensure visual displays attract clients and maximize sales in accordance with company guidelines
  • Place the client above all and lead by example in creating a welcoming, client-centric environment
  • Develop and maintain solid client relationships and enforce meaningful after-sales experiences
  • Execute the Brand Selling Ceremony to guarantee excellent client satisfaction and service
  • Proactively identify opportunities to acquire new clients and strengthen client loyalty through clienteling initiatives
  • Manage customer complaints proactively to maintain positive client relationships
  • Act as a strong staff motivator, promote team spirit through effective communication, and cultivate a positive and energetic environment
  • Encourage information exchange within the team and conduct targeted morning briefings on specific topics
  • Master all company tools and applications, ensure the team remains informed of relevant updates
  • Train and inspire the department sales team on product knowledge, sales techniques, client services, and company policies
  • Identify and propose internal development opportunities for talented team members
  • Provide coaching and follow-ups on individual action plans to guarantee team development
  • Support market mapping activities as requested by the Store Manager
  • Lead by example to ensure the team operates with the highest level of care and respect for products
  • Support collaboration between front-of-house and back-of-house operations
  • Enforce company procedures related to cash activity, inventory, logistics, and required reporting activities
  • Contribute to effective and efficient stewardship of company assets
  • Provide feedback and suggestions concerning department needs to the Store Manager and relevant departments
  • Ensure effective and efficient back-of-house organization and protect company assets while maintaining staff grooming standards
  • Ensure company policies and procedures are proactively implemented while managing all operational activities

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Department Manager or equivalent leadership role in luxury retail
  • Strong business acumen with demonstrated ability to develop and execute business plans
  • Excellent financial management and analytical skills
  • Expertise in luxury client service and brand ambassador capabilities
  • Proven track record of team leadership, mentoring, and talent development
  • Deep understanding of omni-channel retail and digital tools in a sales context
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written)

Experience

Education

Secondary education required; university education or equivalent business qualification preferred.
