Miu Miu seeks experienced Department Manager in Fukuoka to lead sales, team development, and customer engagement at luxury retail location.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Analyze category performance against targets and develop actionable improvement plans; execute sales strategies in partnership with store management to exceed budget and KPI goals
  • Build and elevate team motivation through coaching, product knowledge training, and continuous sales methodology development to create a unified, high-performing unit
  • Identify and cultivate talent within the team, providing mentorship and career development opportunities that drive internal advancement
  • Deliver exceptional customer experiences by leading by example; build lasting customer relationships through post-sale service and VIP engagement programs
  • Design and implement local events and promotional campaigns to acquire new customers and enhance brand awareness; analyze competitor activities to inform strategic planning
  • Manage visual merchandising, display strategies, and store environment optimization to maximize in-store appeal and brand representation
  • Oversee operational administration including inventory management, cash flow tracking, logistics coordination, and reporting to support smooth store operations
  • Maintain and reinforce brand standards including team appearance and conduct to preserve the luxury retail environment

Qualifications

  • Proven management experience in luxury retail, domestic brands, or multi-brand selective shops
  • Demonstrated ability to build and develop customer relationships proactively and strategically
  • Strong organizational and team-building capabilities with evidence of creating cohesive, high-performing departments
  • Analytical and logical approach to KPI management, financial metrics, and performance data interpretation
  • Fluency in creating inclusive, comfortable workplace environments
