Micro Crystal seeks a Head of Human Resources to lead its HR department of one employee and oversee recruitment, employee relations, payroll, social insurance, care and case management, and group reporting. The role is based in Grenchen, Switzerland.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide professional and personnel leadership for the HR department, comprising one employee.
- Plan, coordinate and conduct the entire recruitment process.
- Advise and support line managers on all HR-related matters.
- Conduct employee, conflict and termination discussions.
- Ensure accurate, timely payroll processing and social insurance declarations and settlements, including year-end closing.
- Prepare contracts, employment references and statistics.
- Act as the contact for employees on all social insurance matters.
- Manage and coordinate care and case management.
- Prepare reports for Swatch Group.
- Maintain regular communication and collaboration with Swatch Group's corporate HR offices and HR managers at its international companies.
Qualifications
- Several years of professional experience in operational and strategic HR, ideally in a technical environment.
- Experience providing comprehensive HR support, particularly in recruitment, personnel administration, management consulting and personnel development.
- Very good knowledge of Swiss employment law and social insurance.
- High social competence, assertiveness and a pronounced hands-on mentality.
- Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style.
- High integrity, discretion and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Enjoyment of a varied, autonomous role and working with employees and managers.
- Advanced HR qualification, such as an HR Specialist certificate or a degree from a university of applied sciences.
- Very good German and French skills, as well as good English skills.
