Michael Kors seeks a Visual Merchandiser in Store in Florence, Italy. Part-time role supporting EMEA retail operations across 21 European countries. EUR 40,000–50,000 annually.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Host seasonal store team training sessions using visual merchandising training materials and provide feedback to the District Visual Merchandiser
  • Conduct structured monthly floorset walkthroughs with store management and team, delivering training and on-the-spot support
  • Support monthly floorset installations across assigned stores and gather launch feedback
  • Develop and implement quarterly store-specific visual strategies aligned with business objectives and commercial goals
  • Support store managers with commercial floorset updates utilizing trade information, money mapping, and performance dashboards
  • Attend weekly district conference calls to brief on key visual merchandising priorities and align on weekly objectives
  • Interpret company visual merchandising directives for market-appropriate implementation across assigned territories
  • Execute market-specific retail projects including Model Store deliverables, in-store trials, and showroom set-ups
  • Incorporate monthly competitive shop insights into Model Store launches and visual concepts
  • Submit high-quality store floorset photopacks to the District Visual Merchandiser on a monthly basis and as requested
  • Compile and submit weekly recap reports and feedback documenting visual execution and market insights
  • Generate monthly competitive shop analysis and creative ideas for submission to leadership
  • Participate in special individual and team projects initiated by the EU visual merchandising department
  • Collaborate with peer district Visual Merchandiser Assistants on innovation, creative ideation, and market trials to drive sales performance and profitability

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in visual merchandising, retail operations, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of retail business principles and commercial strategy
  • Ability to interpret visual directives and adapt them for local market context
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Italian
  • Proficiency in digital photography and documentation
  • Experience with floorset planning and store layout optimization
  • Knowledge of retail financial metrics and sales performance analysis

Experience

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from EUR 40,000 to EUR 50,000 per annum.
