Michael Kors Store Manager — Waterloo, NY. Lead outlet operations, develop the team and drive omnichannel sales at the Finger Lakes outlet.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and inspire a high-performing store team to deliver an elevated client experience and achieve sales targets.
- Recruit, hire and retain best-in-class talent; drive team development and performance management.
- Oversee all store operations to ensure operational excellence, compliance and visual merchandising standards.
- Create and execute strategic plans informed by business analytics to drive sales, traffic and productivity.
- Develop local community initiatives to generate foot traffic and strengthen brand presence.
- Drive omnichannel sales by leveraging available retail technology and tools to convert and fulfil business.
- Demonstrate agility and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment while working hands-on alongside the team.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of proven Store Manager experience in retail, preferably within fashion or outlet environments.
- Demonstrable leadership record with experience in recruiting, performance management and staff development.
- Proven commercial aptitude with experience using sales analytics to build and execute business plans.
- Track record of delivering exceptional customer service and building long-term client relationships.
- Ability to represent the brand locally as an ambassador and to engage community and networking opportunities.
Skills
Experience
At least 2 years of store management experience with responsibility for P&L, talent management, and operational delivery; prior experience in luxury, premium or outlet retail is strongly preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in business, retail management, marketing or related field preferred.
Workplace
This position is based in Waterloo, New York, USA, within easy reach of Rochester.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to USD 85,000 per annum.
