Michael Kors is hiring a Store Manager in London (Stratford) to lead retail operations, drive sales and develop a high-performing team.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and coach the store team to build a high-performance culture focused on accountability, service excellence and retention.
- Recruit, onboard and develop talent; conduct regular performance reviews and execute succession planning.
- Drive sales growth through goal-setting, KPI analysis, action plans and local customer events; manage and grow the client database using clienteling tools.
- Maintain a visible floor presence and role-model brand behaviours to ensure exceptional customer experiences and repeat business.
- Manage day-to-day store operations including visual merchandising execution, inventory integrity (bi-annual inventories), scheduling optimisation and expense control.
- Partner with district and corporate stakeholders (DM, DVM, logistics, product teams) to align assortment, campaigns and service standards.
- Prioritise loss prevention and audit programmes, collaborating with LPRM and following brand security procedures.
- Ensure effective use of company communication platforms and follow-up on required actions to maintain operational integrity.
Qualifications
- Proven retail management experience in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Charismatic, inspirational leadership with strong people development capabilities.
- High proficiency with retail technology platforms, clienteling tools and Microsoft Office.
- Solid knowledge of Retail Math, KPIs and inventory controls.
- Excellent organisational, interpersonal and follow-up skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to perform under pressure and adapt to a dynamic retail environment.
- Fluent in English.

Experience
Demonstrable experience managing retail stores with accountability for sales targets, team development, inventory control and loss-prevention processes. Experience executing visual merchandising directives and collaborating with regional/corporate partners to deliver commercial and brand outcomes.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in business, retail management or a related field preferred.
